Bebe Rexha Says She Can ‘Bring Down’ Music Industry With What She Knows

Bebe Rexha has claimed she could “bring down” the music industry in an online rant.

The singer, known for hits like “In the Name of Love” and “I’m Good (Blue),” launched her tirade on social media on Tuesday (July 2).

Taking to X, the 34-year-old wrote: “I could bring down a BIG chunk of this industry. I AM frustrated. I have been UNDERMINED. I’ve been so quiet for the longest time. I haven’t seen the signs even though people constantly are bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS. And when I have spoken up I’ve been silenced and PUNISHED by this industry. Things must change or I’m telling ALL of my truths. The good the bad and the ugly.”

Bebe then added more context, telling fans that her rant didn’t come “from a place of anger” but was due to “sadness” over her treatment in the industry since she started singing in 2014.

She added: “I’m sitting in my hotel room in London crying my eyes out. I’ve felt hopeless for the longest time. I’ve been walking a lot through this city and meeting fans and they have really ignited something inside of me.”

The singer later shared a follow-up, saying: “Thank you to everyone checking up on me. I’m working through these issues and fighting for what I deserve. Many news outlets have asked for an interview. If you want to write about me please support my new music. Thank you again. Love you.”

Her posts have been flooded with comments and support from fans. One replied: “We stand with you, Bebe.”

Another shared: “And we will be here to support you! U r seen and appreciated.”
